Flash water heaters are the newest and most efficient
water heaters on the market to date. These heaters
come in gas or electric models. These water heaters
are also known as tankless water heaters. Tankless
heaters do not heat the water till their is a demand for
hot water: so in turn there is no wasted gas or electricity
while the heater is not in use. This alone could save you
hundreds of dollars a year in utility bills. The cost of
these units are slightly more expensive and the cost of
install will also be more due to modifications that will
need to be made to install the unit. But over time the

cost of the unit and the cost of installation will be recouped due to lower utility
bills. One of the other benefits to tankless water heaters is a constant supply of
hot water. You'll never have to worry about running out of hot water. Tankless
heaters do not go by a gallon capacity. They are sized by the BTU rating (British
Thermal Units) and can carry the same capacity as a 30, 40 & 50 gallon water

Standard tank water heaters are your most commonly
installed water heaters and are built to cover a wide range of
applications from apartment complexes to single family
dwellings and office applications. Heaters range in size from 2
1/2 gallons to 200 gallons. These units are normally gas or
electric and gas units can be converted to propane where
required. Standard water heaters even tho less efficient than
tankless heaters have standard to high efficiency ratings. The
higher efficiency units will recover more quickly and are more
cost effective when it comes to energy consumption and hot
