Residential Drain Systems
The main type of drain in use in residential applications is ABS and
Cast Iron. ABS is the most commonly used material in newer
construction due to the lower cost of material and the ease of
installation. One Draw back to the ABS drain systems is the sound of
flowing water. On the other hand cast iron can provide a substantial
noise reduction. Cast Iron is also slightly more labor intensive to install
than ABS. If ABS is installed properly the noise of flowing water can be
greatly reduced. ABS can not be used on some in ground applications;
cast iron must be used. For more information on cost or installation

Rooter Service
Most of the time drain clogs can be fixed with a simple rooter service or
by snaking the drains. It is unavoidable sometimes drains, P traps and
connecting drains might need to be replaced due to age or corrosion.
Home main drains sometimes will become clogged with roots (hence
the name rooter service) due to a break in the sewer main from your
residence or business. This problem can possibly be temporarily fixed
with a rooter service. A drain repair or replacement is suggested in this
case. Mostly drains are clogged by an obstruction or foreign object
that can be removed or pushed through by a rooter service. For more
